Courtney E. Williams, Associate

Following graduation from law school, Courtney Williams spent several years in the Permian Basin working as a petroleum landman, where she ran title, built abstracts, negotiated leases and performed title curative. In 2016, Ms. Williams moved to Roswell, New Mexico to be closer to family. She continues the same high level of work for Carson Ryan’s clients operating in New Mexico’s Permian Basin.

Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, Ms. Williams received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Sam Houston State University. She received her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, where she obtained the Jurisprudence Award for Superior Academic Achievement in Water Law in Fall of 2009 and served as an Articles Editor on the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal.
